An organisation for “You in your 3rd Age”
Our U3A offers a wide range of activities for seniors from the Hawkesbury and surrounding areas. Members tell us that U3A activities are a great way to meet people, make friends, get active and learn new skills – but most of all to share worthwhile and fun times with with old and new friends.
What is your 3rd age? Your first age is childhood through to career choice time; your second age is the mid-part of your working life, which could involve a family and employment; your third age is when you are free and ready to explore, share interests, enjoy things just for you.
Membership renewals, new memberships and enrolment into classes and activities for 2026 is now available. Reduced half-year membership fees are in place from 1st July. See the links below

U3A stands for University of the Third Age. This is for you in your third age. U3A is a movement of retired and semi-retired people who come together to continue their educational, social and creative interests in a friendly and informal environment – a new and informal type of learning organisation, run by local volunteers, without the pressures of formal education.
So NOW is the time for you to …
