There are no formal qualifications necessary to be a group leader, just a special interest or knowledge that they are willing to share with others.
Are there any additional fees besides the membership fee?
Occasionally a course may require the purchase of materials (eg. Art) but most courses are free of charge.
How do I become a tutor?
If you have a skill or area of knowledge that you would like to share through a U3A course, please contact our office. The suggested class is advertised in the newsletter and if members show an interest then a new class is introduced. The committee only makes class decisions on controversial topics.
